St. Valentino’s

This Sunday we observe a holiday that most either love or loathe. Which ever is your case, you might as well spend the day looking fabulous, and if not for your loved one, for yourself.

For the single girls:

The look of desperation is never in style. So, don’t throw on the drab, black attire you usually forbid yourself to leave the house in. Just because you’re dateless for this one Hallmark holiday does not give you the right to abuse your sense of style. I guarantee that you have at least one other dateless friend with whom you can spend a girl’s night out. Pull out that dress you’ve been afraid to wear for the past few months and accessorize with confidence. You’re single, and you should spend the night living it up and looking great. Don’t go over the top, but tonight, more than any other night, you deserve to look great!

For the ladies with a man:

I have never been a fan of holiday wear. Most of you wouldn’t be caught dead with a Christmas tree on your sweater in December or a bunny on your tee at Easter, so why do so many of you insist on wearing hearts on Valentine’s Day? Don’t do it…don’t even think about it! But, you can wear that little red dress of yours. Red, the hottest color this spring, looks great on almost every skin tone and makes you stand out the second you walk into a room. You’ll not only demand the attention of every guy in the room, you’ll have your date wondering why he can’t take his eyes off of you. Don’t forget to wear a closed toe or peep toe shoe. A strappy heel could ruin the outfit all together. You’ll look great, and if you don’t believe me, your date is bound to tell you all through the night.

That’s all.

Girl, don’t lie. Red absolutely does not work on every skin tone. I have 2 red dresses I wish I could pull off, but my skin is too yellow. It probably works on you, but there are a lot of girls who can’t pull off red.
